TERA IT Distributor and Sentra, a Russian developer of AI-native cybersecurity products, have signed a distribution agreement. Under the agreement, TERA will offer Sentra’s flagship solution to the Russian market: Sentra AI Hacker, an autonomous tool for continuously assessing the security of corporate infrastructure and applications. The solution identifies potential intrusion paths, validates their feasibility, and helps prioritize vulnerability remediation.

Autonomous security assessment

Unlike conventional scanners, Sentra AI Hacker goes beyond searching for known vulnerabilities and follows the reasoning of a real attacker: conducting reconnaissance, exploring web applications and APIs, considering business context, forming hypotheses, building attack chains, and validating threats. Each finding includes remediation guidance. After a fix, the system retests it to confirm that the attack path is closed. A consistent verification process for all findings keeps the false-positive rate at no more than 5%.

Sentra AI Hacker’s core use case is automated penetration testing of external and internal attack surfaces to identify vulnerabilities and validate their exploitability. Its broader capabilities include automated triage of security tool results to review, verify, and prioritize a vulnerability backlog, as well as integration into the SDLC pipeline to assess application security during development and before releases. The solution can also support Purple Team exercises to train teams, assess the effectiveness of security controls, and evaluate SOC response quality.

Sentra AI Hacker uses a multi-agent architecture and is not tied to a specific LLM. Customers can select a model according to their requirements, preferences, and constraints. The solution is available in the cloud or for deployment within the customer’s own infrastructure.

Continuous assessment in everyday security operations

According to the Center for Strategic Research, Russia’s application security segment grew by 45.6% in 2025, making it the fastest-growing segment of the information security market. This indicates that companies are increasingly shifting their focus from infrastructure protection alone to the application layer: web and mobile applications, APIs, cloud services, business logic, and integration chains. This is where changes happen most rapidly and unconventional attack vectors emerge. Faster and more frequent releases, together with the use of AI in development and cyberattacks, increase the need for frequent, in-depth assessments. The key question for customers is which vulnerabilities pose a real threat to their business and what needs to be fixed first.

Sentra AI Hacker addresses this challenge by investigating the agreed scope, identifying threats, connecting them into attack chains, confirming exploitability in practice, and checking the results of remediation. This approach makes in-depth security assessment part of a security team’s daily work: reducing routine tasks and time spent reviewing false positives, focusing on confirmed threats, and accelerating remediation. For businesses, this means shortening the period during which an attacker could exploit a discovered vulnerability.

The shift from formal compliance with regulatory requirements to practical assessment of cyber resilience is also driving the market. Government-initiated cyber testing programs are emerging in industries where the continuity of digital processes is critical to business, increasing demand for solutions of this kind.

About the partnership

“We value TERA as a strong technology partner that combines deep expertise in infrastructure solutions and cybersecurity with an extensive network of integrators,” says Anastasia Altukhova, Commercial Director of Sentra. “The partnership opens up broad opportunities to develop our partner network and explore technology cooperation with other vendors. Together with TERA, we aim to strengthen the cyber resilience of Russian businesses by giving companies access to modern tools for continuous security assessment.”

Mikhail Chizhov, Security Director at TERA: “I am delighted that the Russian market now has a unique product combining your own pocket-sized Red Team working for you 24/7, exceeding human capabilities in brute-force techniques and the construction of APT attacks, connecting Purple Team activities, providing full oversight of closing every opening identified in attacks, and even offering the functionality of a traditional security specialist with a process-oriented approach. It comes out of the box, can be installed in your own isolated infrastructure, and does not require a six-month implementation. Signing a distribution agreement with Sentra enables TERA to offer our partners a component of next-generation security architecture for customers with the most demanding cybersecurity requirements. This significantly strengthens TERA’s security portfolio and our expertise as a project-focused value-added distributor.”
